Cottage Department

Our Cottage Department is registered to provide care for a maximum 37 children aged from 0 – 2 years with a 1 to 3 staff ratio in place.

The Cottage is separated into three main play rooms, Blue Room, Green Room & Yellow Room.

Children are based within one designated area, and with a key worker system in place to ensure continuity.

There are 4 allocated pram parks within this department.

All play rooms have fridges, microwaves and bottle warming facilities within them.

Play rooms are divided into two main play areas, each having a carpet area for comfortable floor play and a lino area for messy activities and feeding purposes.

The rooms are bright and colourfull, with resources that meet that age and stage of the childs development.

The Cottage garden is a natural garden with a large grass area and planting beds that provides an abundance of opportunites for outdoor play.

There is a summer house within the garden and two storage huts.

The building has ramp access to accommodate for prams/ buggy’s.
