Out Of School Care / The Den Our out school care has been accessing their new premises since Sep 08 which is a large house that has been redesigned into separate rooms for the children to access both downstairs and upstairs.

Downstairs there is a Dance Zone for the children to participate in dance, musical activities, and dressing up face painting etc.

The room is mirrored and has extensive resources. There is also The Den room downstairs along with an ICT room.

The Den is used for snacking and also a variety of arts and crafts activities as well as games tables.

The ICT room has computers, access to the internet to aid with research and homework as well as anumber of other resources to incorporate ICT.

You can access the outdoor area from the ICT room and there is a high fence for security in the garden area.

Upstairs there are two large rooms. One side is the committee area and meeting room which has a comfy suite, coffee table area, access to television and a chatting chill out area.

The committee area comprises of a large table and chairs and a wipe board. This is where the children carry out their planning using the Play Strategy.

Planning is carried out weekly however children will use the white board to put down ideas throughout the week.

The other side of the upstairs is a games area comprising of various resources including pool, bowling, football tables ping pong and basketball.

The children also have access to a kitchen area with cooker, fridge and dishwasher to access.

Each room has toilets for the children to access and there is disabled facilities in place.
